What a fantastic week we’ve had celebrating world book week this year. We’ve been very fortunate to have author- Karen McCombie visit us here at Mulgrave to talk about her books, the inspirations for her books and the process of writing. Our pupils were so immersed in the visit, and had the opportunity to have books signed by the author.

A range of activities were organised to celebrate WBD, with books cafes, bistros and restaurants held in classrooms. Children also had the opportunity to try and solve r that mystery of the missing adult behind the book, with the opportunity for £10 vouchers to be won for those who guessed most of them correct.

We continue to believe that reading is at the heart of learning, here at Mulgrave and cannot wait to celebrate and promote reading further as a school
