Safeguarding

At Mulgrave, we recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all children; we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitmnet.  We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children and adults feel respected and valued.

We maintain an attitude of ‘it could happen here’, where safeguarding is concerned, and promote a culture of openness where children and adults are able to talk and are listened to.  Any concerns are passed to the designated safeguarding leaders within the school.  

We ensure that all staff receive appropriate training, guidance and support to undertake the effective safeguarding of children.

If you have a safeguarding concern about any child that attends Mulgrave, please ask to speak to one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) in the school:

Safeguarding children and young people is everyone’s responsibility and anyone is able to make a referral or report a concern. Should you have any concerns about a child you can contact the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH):

The Greenwich Safeguarding Children Board is a partnership of all the different organisations working to protect children and young people across the borough. Their website brings together information for children, young people and their families and the professionals who work with them.
