Mulgrave Choir

Mulgrave choir has been running for around 7 years and are one of the most 1n1a6506successful choirs in Greenwich. The choir consists of children that range from Year 1 to Year 6, so quite a mix of different ages! It gives our children the opportunity to show off not only their singing but quite often their dancing skills.

Being part of choir has been a great opportunity for the children of Mulgrave to take part in so many events over the past few years. They have been to O2 to sing at the Young Voices Concert, at St Thomas Secondary School to sing with the GSMA and they have sung at the Thames Festival in the Scoop near Waterloo.

Rg 013Regular events for the choir are singing at the Town Hall for the annual Holocaust Memorial Service in January. This year the children had pleasure of working alongside The Rev Cantor David Rome from the Lewisham and Catford Synagogue in preparation for event that was held at the Town Hall. They also sing at the school Christmas Carol Concert is held at St Mary’s Magdalene Church in Woolwich.

The choir were fortunate enough to be awarded the Lead Choir 2015/2016 by Greenwich Music Hub.  This was a great honour and privilege and gave the children the opportunity to sing at both the Festival Hall and Blackheath Concert Halls.

All children are welcome to join!
